Before I launch fully into the Czech Republic portion of our trip I am reminded, by the appearance of an occasional passage (pa-sahj') in Prague, of the great prevalence of passages in Leipzig. Claire said only half jokingly that one can cross the entire Leipzig center through these quaint interior street malls. Here are 2 examples in Leipzig. I feel they show the extremes of Leipzig well - from old world to very modern.
